Klemer Trio

Based in Boston, the Klemer Trio comprises Mehrpouya Daneshvar from Iran on clarinet, Klara Poznachowska from Poland on harp, and Lucas Phillips from the USA on double bass. Their music blends world music with significant influences from Middle Eastern tunes and jazz.
The trio formed during their studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where they began to craft a unique sound rooted in improvisation. This collaborative approach enables each member to incorporate their personal experiences and cultural backgrounds into the music, creating performances that are both narrative journeys and musical explorations.
